Purpose – Job Summary: Senior Application Specialist provides is a liaison between the customer and NCR. The application specialist implements and trains of the NCR store level replenishment and inventory software. They utilize industry knowledge to identify problems and follows standard best practices and procedures.
Responsibilities: First line of support for Customers, acquiring details of the problem, verifying product configuration and environment information. Drive projects to completion while maximizing customer service and perceived value Perform test planning and execution Conduct customer end-user training Deployment of solution to customer environment, including technical aspect of installing and configuring the product to suite customer specific needs Understanding of customer needs and ability to articulate how such needs can be dealt with within our solutions set

Strong Customer Service skills
Ability to travel 40 to 60% required
Very good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate will in all levels of management from end users to C-level groups depending on customers.
Ability to create training and provide training to users as needed
Ability to write materials for the purpose of training or presenting to the customer where needed.
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Ability to analyze data to be able to provide a story based on the information that has been provided.
Desire to work in an information systems environment
Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
Excellent software and hardware troubleshooting skills.
Position is load balanced and some activities may extend the normal work day
Ability to perform PM tasks or assist with PM tasks when needed
Preferred but not required
Ability to write basic SQL queries
Experience with retail inventory or supply chain management and optimization principles and concepts
Previous managed a team of relevant size
Previous vendor consulting or implementation experience
Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
