POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
From general stadium, multipurpose arenas and concert venue configurations and concepts, the venues industry faces unparalleled challenges from consumers, operators and the competition. Consumers are obsessed with convenience, making service more critical than ever. Venue operators are encountering new and different challenges from every direction – concessions, premium, in-seat, suite catering, vending, back office controls, on-demand inventory / stock levels, self-service, competing venues, etc. NCR Corporation offers solutions designed to meet the unique needs of many venue concepts.
As an Implementation Lead at NCR Corporation, you will work closely with clients to build quality solutions which address identified business needs. In this role you will be responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and advised deployment of the solutions for venue clients. This role will work closely with the internal Implementations team and external clients to identify configurations settings and gather data to properly build workable solutions. In doing so, you will work in a team environment where you will have direct interactions with other consultants, clients, and internal groups such as Product Development, Implementations, Sales and Client Management. You will also work closely with our client support center to research client issues and provide timely solutions to current client needs.
Owns success of project implementation including server build, POS installation and product training and database development
Participate in Customer Kickoff Meeting
Owns all financial and resource budgets for the project (using initial definitions)
Primary driver of project plan, including changes to initial project plan and resource schedule
Primary onsite escalation point for Customer and Project Team
Weekly / daily project status communication through written status reports to Account Manager
Provide front line feedback to product development and Support Services on enhancements and softwareissues
Good communication and people skills with internal teams and client shareholders
Clear and concise verbal, written and presentation skills
High energy, initiative based self-starter with exceptional work ethic
Team player that meets deadlines, is detail oriented and has a sense of ownership
Proactively seeks to learn the NCR Corporation’s products and diagnostic tools

Bachelor’s degree required
NCR Quest product experience highly desirable
SQL experience is required
Microsoft Server Product Knowledge preferred
Previous experience within Point of Sale / Venues industry preferred
Approximately 75 % travel is required
Applicants with experience in a previous project management /consulting environment are preferred
