YOU CAN EXPECT TO:

  • Put your visionary skills to work with, and on, a team of others to weave our University Relations story together across platforms and channels. In collaboration with University Corporate Relations, Career Services and Faculty you will build successful programs with our key universities. With you at the helm, our current and potential university audiences won’t just engage with us—they’ll champion our brand as a result of your genuine influence and actions.

  • Experiment and simplify! We don’t need more tasks—we need our tasks to do more. Armed with a clearly defined University Relations strategy for our business, you’ll make it easier for students and future iNCRedibles to relate and connect with us when and how they want.

  • Do the thing you do best. We’re looking for purposeful relationships aligning the right universities and NCR leaders for success. We’re looking to help NCR Talent Acquisition build a solid funnel of university graduates applying to work at NCR. We are looking for brand equity and awareness especially with the University System of GA.

  • Influence the Influencers. It’s not easy, but you’ll manage a CRM to build relationships with our many stakeholders: executives, employees, universities, future employees, media and relevant government officials. You will also develop and manage a University Relations Council, that reviews the various university initiatives, prioritizes focus and promotes involvement with this talent segment.

  • Maintain a comprehensive monthly content & events calendar and meet regularly with the Communications, Social Media, Talent, Learning, Onboarding, Employee Experience and Government Relations functions. You’ll work alongside and collaborate with talented contributors to promote student events, programs, benefits and partnership opportunities.

YOU HAVE:

  • A bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years of demonstrated experience in corporate affairs, university relations or public affairs.

  • An impressive and verifiable ability to build relationships in the public-private space - working with university faculty, students and NCR employees at all levels and incorporate key stakeholder feedback into overall strategy.

  • Experience creating and delivering communication materials and representing a brand for the purposes of developing strong relationships with students and faculty

  • Experience with championing relationship management programs on social media platforms and monitoring tools are a bonus!

  • Experience partnering with Talent and Leadership Development, Corporate Marketing, Government Relations, HR Business Partners and key executives.
