Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

NCR is seeking a Manager of Communications to create and implement communications in support of one or more senior executives and their organization with the company.

Responsibilities • Develop communications plan in support of one or more senior executives and the executive’s organization as a whole. • Regularly write messages and presentations, and facilitate webcasts on behalf of the executive, primarily for company internal audiences. • Coordinate closely with executive’s Chief of Staff. • Collaborate and align all communications for this executive(s) and their organization within the broader NCR communications function. • Develop and execute thought leadership program for the executive(s).

Basic Qualifications

• 10 years experience in executive/internal communications. • Experience with HR-related communications, site communications and employee engagement. • Experience in driving high-technology and corporate communications messaging platforms and programs. • Proven success in building corporate positioning for C-level executives, as well as developing profiling and thought leadership programs for a publicly listed, global company. • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. • Comfort level working under tight deadlines with the ability to gather, information, and present recommendations to executives and respond to media outlets. • Ability to work independently, prioritize work load, project manage, and display high-level organizational skills. • Strong listening, creative thinking, influencing and relationship-building skills in a project-driven environment. • Ability to communicate and interact across position levels, including executive leadership and senior management. • Fast-paced and self-motivating working style. • Team oriented with a collaborative style. • Undergraduate degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications Arts, or Marketing or related field and/or extensive equivalent combination of education and experience.
