The NCR Managed Services Team provides support for multiple individual services such as Device/Network Monitoring & Incident Management, Cash Management and Software Distribution, to name a few. The Technical Consultant is accountable for all activities associated with Managed Services solutions deployment, customer consultation regarding deployment, and support of customer lifecycle in cooperation with NCR Services and partnered business units.

Successful delivery is defined as meeting or exceeding stakeholder needs and expectations. This job role is to ensure that customer strategies and plans are understood and articulated, products meet business and technical objectives, and that product lifecycles are managed in relation to evolving business requirements.

The Technical Consultant will be based in Belgrade (Serbia) but will work within a global team and with customers located (predominantly, but not exclusively) across Europe and Middle East.

• Presales support for Managed Services offers o Pre-sales support and collaboration with the Account Team in order to qualify the technical requirements of the opportunities o Participate in the Managed Services Qualification Process when engaged by the Solution Architect or Life Cycle Team Director o Identify and propose the right delivery service solution, tools & methodology, based on real service delivery capability and customer needs o Be the single point of contact into NCR Services delivery organization for the sales team (when no Solution Architect is involved), coordinate the involvement of the operations team as required and obtain any required documentation such as scope of service documents, Contract Terms, and implementation plans • Implementation Support for Managed Services offers o Participate in the discovery stage of the Due Diligence of a customer implementation and implementation of new contracts, based on a defined Service Level Agreement, in one of the Managed Service Operations delivery centers o Coordinate and manage the implementation of the services and direct the activities of the service delivery team when delivering standard services. Handover the implemented and tested solution to Operations to include documented procedures and SLA agreements • Assist with Lifecycle support of Customers implemented on Managed Services offers o Provide consultation to operations on customer implementations after handover o Support and initiate optimization/improvement projects o Consult with the System Administration team and System Specialist in the analysis, resolution of service delivery issues, and implementations of change requests o Participate in the deployment of corporate tools, processes and procedures to optimize the performance of service delivery o Migrate outdated solutions to follow global standards o Liaison/partner with other NCR Organizations and 3rd party vendors to get needed features implemented, critical bugs fixed or recover from operational disasters


• Bachelor’s degree in computer since or work experience • General understanding of programming concepts and system design for the Microsoft series of operating systems • Minimum 3 years of experience working with IT network management tools. Priority in working with EMC Service Assurance Suite or EMC VIPR suite • Very good understanding of IT network technologies, both old and new. • A very good understanding of the roles of various network elements such as Firewalls, Virtualization Platforms, routers, Servers, Call Managers, Cloud controllers, etc. • Good understanding of the Software Defined Networking concept • A very good understanding of the protocol management, especially the knowledge of SNMP V3 and HTTPS (Rest API, SOAP) • Fluent spoken and written English • Customer Communication skills


• Fluent spoken and written German • Strong technical background, knowledge and understanding of ATM management tools, such as Gasper Vantage, APTRA OptiCash, APTRA Vision and NCR Agent Software (or similar) • Strong Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge • Certifications or formal training in o Systems Administration (Microsoft Certifications preferred) o Networking (CCNA) o ITIL o Project Management
