Position Summary

The Legal Administrator supports the NCR Law Department in Europe in administrative, organizational and operational matters, works closely with the operations team of the NCR Law Department in the USA, reports to the Europe Region Legal Counsel and is located in Augsburg, Germany.

Primary responsibilities

The Legal Administrator is responsible for providing administrative, operational and organizational support for the attorneys in Europe, including but not limited to

• supporting the ongoing legal matter forecasting process for Europe, Turkey and Israel of the NCR Law Department by using our Passport matter management system, including the provision of feedback to the operations team of the NCR Law Department in the USA and to other internal NCR clients; • preparing drafts of engagement letters with law firms throughout Europe, Turkey and Israel and getting them reviewed, approved and executed; support the set-up of law firms as supplier in NCR store; providing communications and support to the law firms; • reviewing of invoices submitted by law firms, courts, etc., obtaining approval from attorneys and processing these invoices via the applicable NCR systems which varies by country e.g. AP, Passport, or manual payment etc. considering specifics e.g. tax; follow-up payment, if required; • updating Corporate Secretarial changes of NCR legal entities in Europe and Turkey in BluePrint, following up with the required documentation; • archiving documents of customer contracts in various languages by using the applicable NCR systems; • implementing the applicable NCR procedures, processes and policies;

Requirements

Qualification as paralegal, financial analyst, accountant or similar profession At least 3 years practical experience in a multinational environment (major law firm or multinational company) Fluent in German and English (verbal and written) Able to work in a global multicultural environment with a diverse team Able to work diligently and efficiently and meeting deadlines and demands of a variety of internal clients and suppliers (law firms) Excellent communication skills; strong writing skills and attention to detail Ability to identify issues and escalate as appropriate within the Law Department and other internal clients Sound user experience with MS Office Ability to learn and apply new IT systems and tools
