Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provides industry thought leadership for customers and NCR; Conducts industry specific briefings/seminars; Works with the Services Department to collect and maintain industry data and metrics
  • Performs industry benchmarks; Provides executive level consulting on industry issues; Keeps abreast of industry issues and trends to identify emerging target opportunities; Attends industry seminars and conferences
  • Stays current with industry publications
  • Maintains and builds relationships within industry; Networks with key industry contact and clients; Takes a leadership role in securing new consulting engagements and managing day-to-day client relationships and results
  • Strong technical background and able to bridge NCR solution capabilities to customer operations, requirements and vision.
  • Creates design materials and initiate reviews with team members when necessary
  • Writes documentation to describe customer operations, customer architecture, program development, logic, coding, and corrections

  • • Validates software design and solution to the project requirements; Plans and organizes work commensurate to project objectives and schedule
  • Practices proper source code control, development procedures and coding best practices
  • Capable of using various debugging techniques and tools to efficiently resolve software problems
  • Defines engagement strategy, budget objectives and scope
  • Acts as the Technical & Solution lead in Region deployment engagements
