POSTION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• The primary responsibility of the Sales Account Executive is to drive the sales team to achieve and exceed the annual sales plan. It is expected that the AE will establish and cultivate high level executive relationships with the CXOs of the major accounts in the Territory. Additional responsibilities include the development of the high level strategic plan for the Region and to supervise the development of individual account plans for all the major accounts in the territory. • This polished, high energy executive, possessing exceptional communications skills, will establish effective communication and collaboration with executives and managers across the internal NCR organizations. The Account Executive will partner across various organizations, including: pre-sales engineering, financial management, solutions management, professional services, customer services, marketing, business operations, solution management etc. • Having successfully established a successful track record of sales growth • Previous sales management experience of software solutions focused on the Retail sector • Having established long term professional relationships with top tier clients in the grocery, convenience, fuel, drug store, discount, and specialty segments of the Retail industry • Previous experience with software and services organizations that sell Point of Sales Software, Merchandising, Back Office, Inventory, Enterprise and/or Supply Chain Applications • Highly motivated and tenacious in migrating through targeted prospects, as well as escalating issues. • Adept at communicating with all levels in the prospect’s organization, as well as all groups internally including: Development, • Professional/Consulting Services, Product Management, Sales • Always managing with the highest professional standards and setting the example of the strongest ethical behavior
• Bachelor’s degree • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Retail industry • Demonstrated English fluency both verbal and written • Can do attitude
