Position: QA Team Leader Location: Ra'anana, Israel
*Key duties and responsibilities: *
Lead a team of QA engineers that are testing a complex, enterprise-grade product . Lead the process of defining test plans, test cycles and execution in Agile Scrum methodology and V model Participate in critical design activities to assure that the product under development can be effectively tested Actively manage the Testing Engineers on a day-to-day basis, facilitating the work of the team Proactively define, execute and improve the quality of the QA strategy Work closely with product management and development teams Manage Automation as well as Manual Testing coverage by insuring Full Regression with maximum automation coverage. Provide effort estimations for high level planning of activities of the testing group. Provide progress status reports, resolve conflicts and raise flags about outstanding issues that should be escalated for mitigation. Performs QA Engineer tasks and duties as required (Up to 30% Hands-on)
Requirements: 5 years of proven working experience in software quality assurance 3 years of leading a QA team experience. A graduate of B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent experience Proven ability to design tests for complex systems. Good understanding of the entire software development lifecycle. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases Ability to be proactive, prioritize and work under tight deadlines with flexibility and changing priorities Excellent verbal and written skills in English Experience working with off shore teams – Advantage! Experience working on retail field - Advantage Superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Must demonstrate a high degree of energy, independent and self-motivated Exceptional communication & collaboration skills
