The associate would be working on Digital banking solutions (SaaS Offering) from NCR’s Digital Insight™. In this role the associate is responsible for Quality assurance of C/C CGI 'interface' programs on Red Hat Linux platform. Interface programs connect and interact with our core Data Processing Vendors to retrieve and post customer account and transaction data.
Responsible for test planning, estimation, execution and documentation of complex software applications using standard and automated test processes; Analyze, and trouble-shoot issues in high performance systems, in a multi-threaded & multi-process environment. The candidate must possess a constant zeal to try out newer techniques & tools and apply them in everyday work, thereby contribute in continuously improving our software. Prepare test strategy for the entire product. Debug and narrow down the product(own/upstream/downstream) causing the issue for quick resolution. Maintains and documents all testing activities in accordance with Company standards, policies and work processes; Analyzes the requirements and provides necessary inputs to Product owners; Understand the existing code & configuration parameters to understand the impact of the changes or implicit/undocumented requirements of existing system. Develop and Ensure high quality, high performance, scalable and maintainable test automation solutions adhering to standards and best practices; Understand interrelationships and impacts of systems and applications upon the Target environment; Responsible for designing and implementing test automation framework [Unit & System test automation] Activate Participation in Process and Architecture discussions; Prepares test automation strategy for system integration testing for complex system; Responsible for quality assurance of software releases; Collaborate with external and internal teams to identify the integration dependencies; Prepare and own the Quality improvement plans; Drive Continuous Delivery processes into every aspect of the project and platform lifecycle; Actively participates in the selection(interviews), training, mentoring and evaluation team members
Skills 6 years of solid industry experience developing and testing applications. 3 years in testing applications in C/C development on AIX/Unix/Linux environment. AIX/Unix/Linux command line experience.
