In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and driving the engineering team through an Agile development process. You’ll be involved in full product life cycles, working directly with software engineering, product owners, as well as our business stakeholders. Ideal candidates would have previous experience in guiding teams from traditional development practices towards Agile.
Responsibilities · Responsible for enacting and promoting Scrum values and practices. · Shield the engineering team from distractions and interruptions from external interferences. · Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions. · Promote and participate in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value. · Organize and facilitate standups, release and sprint planning, reviews, demos and retrospectives. · Adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security policies. · Help continue driving the engineering team towards an Agile development process. · Engineer a world-class platform with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving. · Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit, integration, and regression capabilities
Required Skills • 10 years of experience in delivering software solutions. • Excellent understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies. • Experience with Agile development methodologies. • Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills. • 3 years of experience as a practicing Scrum Master. • Experience working in complex, multi-product solutions. • A delivery focused approach to work and the ability to work without direction. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications • Scrum Certification • Retail POS industry knowledge, is a plus • Payments domain knowledge, is a plus • Participation in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development • Iterative Product Development experience with ALM tools such as VSTS, TFS, JIRA, etc. , will be an advantage
