POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
* Software distribution using CA Unicenter and SCCM 2007/2012 distribution tools
* Troubleshooting and resolving Hardware-Software-Network issues related to Windows \ SL8 R10 \ CA /SCCM Environment
* Live deployments monitoring
* Accurate analysis and reports creation * Analyzes the scope of current, planned and proposed projects and works with multiple parties to bundle projects into releases. * Understands code and database dependencies and coordinates and prioritizes changes accordingly. Mediates resolution to conflicts between projects. * Tracks and controls changes to release scope and adjusts the release content accordingly. * Communicates release status and release changes to all parties. * Must be capable of assessing the quality of the proposed changes and determining whether the applicable entry-criteria are met. * Managing multiple development environments (multiple servers, software tools, applications, operating systems and locations) * Testing the distribution jobs; for example, by performing distribution in a phased manner * Maintaining development environment for packaging activities. * Track changes to software packages in the associated configuration management system * Create and schedule distribution jobs based on supplied distribution plans * Responsible for all aspects of the distribution and installation of the software update ensuring that the software update is distributed to the right targets * Responsible for resolving issues related to failed distributions and perform the appropriate corrective action * Responsible for checking that the target systems are not negatively impacted by the distribution of software * Monitor progress of scheduled distribution jobs. * Retry/reschedule failed distributions once the issue causing the failures has been identified and repaired. * Initiate regression or recovery procedures according to the agreed regression plan * Managing configuration of the software distribution infrastructure, maintain distribution calendars, procedure groups, automatic jobs, cleanup software libraries, purge obsolete * Installing and configuring CA USD\SCCM on new and reinstalled devices * Generate reports identifying gaps in the software level of the managed devices * Produce scheduled reports detailing the status and progress of software distribution jobs * Produce software distribution reports on an ad-hoc basis. * Generate ad-hoc inventory reports and inventory queries * Produce detailed software inventory reports for customer use * Perform other corresponding duties and tasks in accordance with his qualifications, as directed by
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * The incumbent should possess minimum Bachelor with specialization in IT or equivalent work experience * Candidates must have proven excellent communications and interpersonal skills. * Candidates should have strong organizational acumen. * Candidates should have ad hoc process understanding * Minimum C1 English language skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have at least 1 year experience within installing-configuring-troubleshooting Storeline 8 and R10 customer specific applications
