Position Summary: The NAMER Business Operations Consultant provides consultation to the SWM Region Program Manager, global business operation and Finance and/or other solution team managers in managing the operational and/or process deployment aspects of SWM in the Solution Teams. The Global Operations team enables SWM success as a highly productive organization through managed, defined processes and performance-improving Business Operations consulting. Business Consultant: This role leverages knowledge and competence in designing, developing and delivering professional services processes/ methodologies, programs, and education. The Business Consultant uses overall knowledge of the industry and business solutions to drive operation improvement or stronger business results. The Business Consultant must use knowledge of NCR/ SWM Business processes in order to effectively communicate their relevance and importance to the SWM community. The Business Consultant will work with cross functional teams to create new best practices, job aids, and deliverables. Work with region sales to project SWM funnel and sales, analyzing pricing and contract SLAs.
Key Areas of Responsibility • Drive Improvements in the operations of the SWM business. • Provide SWM expertise/ analysis to SWM management. • Recommend and implement corrective actions to improve results. • Address and improve process gaps and inefficiencies. • Measure and Govern SWM business effectiveness. • Report on a core set of financial, operational, and people-related metrics for multiple levels of SWM business in the region. • Analyze SWM business and evaluate metrics, identify opportunities and actions for improvement. Conduct monthly Region reviews. • Share SWM expertise/ analysis in the form of operational reviews and audits, as well as process review and audits for compliance. • Use EDW SWM Universe to create ad-hoc reports. • Develop and deploy global processes, systems, tools, and metrics to facilitate management of SWM resources. • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for SWM Automation tool. • Evaluate standard systems and tools deployed to the SWM field. • Work with region sales to project SWM funnel and sales, analyzing pricing and contract SLAs • Resolve problems/ issues with system usage, liaise with NCR IT. • Assist and manage system business requirements. • Assist in development and execution of the Annual operations planning, outlook, and results analysis. • Establish plan tools, methods, strategic targets and growth objectives. • Manage annual plan process and operational readiness. • Direct end of year/ start of year financial and systems procedures.
• 1 year of NCR or related external experience. • Bachelor’s degree required • SWM and/or PS knowledge preferred. • Changepoint / PSA system knowledge desired. • Experience helping internal work groups leverage their systems/ process to drive improvements/ efficiencies. • Ability to present information in a consistent, organized and accurate manner. • Excellent interpersonal/ leadership skills interfacing with management and peers. • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with limited management supervision Preferred Requirements • Awareness of PSA systems, SWM processes and systems • Strong Communication & Business Process skills. • Strong, demonstrated business consulting/ improvement skills.
