Software Developer- C, C , Java- Bangkok, Thailand
To develop and enhance NCR self-services software solution to support NCR Thailand customers.
Works with clients and senior programmer analysts to formulate plans outlining steps required to develop the program, uses structured analysis and design. Submits to end-users for approval.
Prepares flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps program must follow and to describe logical operations involved.
As directed, plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems: Consults with user(s) to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.
Designs computer terminal screen displays to accomplish goals of user request.
Converts project specifications, using flowcharts and diagrams, into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language process able by computer, applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages.
Conducts programming. Enters program codes and commands into computer system to program, run and test programs. Reads computer printouts or observes display screen to detect syntax or logic errors during program test, or uses diagnostic software to detect errors. Replaces, deletes, or modifies codes to correct errors.
Analyzes, reviews, and alters programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Writes user manuals to describe installation and operating procedures.
Assists users to solve operating problems. Recreates steps taken by user to locate source problem and rewrites program to correct errors.
Reads manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to keep abreast of new developments and to learn ways to develop programs that meet user requirements.

Qualification and Desired Experience *
Bachelor’s degree/technical certification in Computer Science or related field
Have 3-5 years programming, analysis and computer systems administration experience with 1-2 years of systems/applications design and development experience.
Must be able to read, analyze and interpret computer design/development technical manuals and procedures.
Must have experience with such programs and applications as: C, C , Java or Dotnet
Must have experience supporting such end user business applications.
Must have PC software applications design and development experience in a LAN/WAN systems environment.
Demonstrated ability to interact primarily with peers, supervisors, application end user managers, with local IS personnel, and to work cooperatively in a teamwork environment. The ability to occasionally interface with senior management for information exchange.
