Position Summary

The UX Analyst will oversee changing the way we go to marketing and by creating smoother customer focused experiences online. The person in this role will thrive in a creative, fast-paced, and ownership-centric work environment where they will be driving a key part of this transformation.

NCR is looking for a strategic and highly collaborative individual who can work closely with a team of passionate digital experts across multiple teams creating the interaction flows, testing models and using research and data to define best in class and be the leading voice for our customer-centric approach, diving deep on user needs and expectations creating easy to use interactions across digital properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish models and frameworks to scale UX across touchpoints and allow for flexible personalized experiences

  • Lead in laying foundational processes on how to use analytics data to inform and evolve the UX of our digital experiences

  • Work with Manage of designs. Lead, mentor, and support them in success in the products and services they lead

  • Contribute to the design of useful, usable, and desirable user interfaces in a team environment

  • Create user-centered designs by considering market segment analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings

  • Use business requirements and customer research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements

  • Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences

  • Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups and prototypes

  • Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns

  • Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and Amazon executives for review and feedback

    Basic Qualifications:

  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating beautiful, user-centered design solutions is a requirement for application led by you and your team

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Great eye for visual design and layout

  • A strong track record of iterative design, working closely with customers, peers, and developers from inception through implementation

  • Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment

  • Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently

  • Fluency in best practices for mobile and tablet design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
