Position Summary

We are looking for a North American Retail (NAMER) Inside Sales Associate who excels at securing leads and qualifying opportunities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience nurturing leads in a long sales cycle and utilizing best practice outreach efforts to Fortune 1000 companies.

The role requires a strong knowledge of NCR’s buyer personas and our ability to address a potential customer’s challenges.

This is a rotational program starting with Inside Sales experience and then rotating out into the field as a Sales Territory Account Representative as a career option.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect into named and target accounts with the goal of generating a qualified opportunity to be handed off to sales

  • Conduct research on a prospect’s organization and identify new contacts based on NCR’s buyer personas

  • Create contact maps at target organizations and work closely with the NAMER sales organization to cross-sell into accounts

  • Ability to research a company to understand their environment and get to the right person to address opportunities

  • Provide a high-level overview of NCR’s value proposition, products and services

  • Establish a consistent approach for managing and following up with funnel prospects //Trade Show Responsibilities//

  • Handle pre-show appointment setting and post-show follow up as needed

  • Manage lead qualification and appointment activity in the booth

  • Successfully communicate NCR’s value proposition to prospects during the event

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • New college grads welcome to apply

  • 1-3 years of sales experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines (often set by customers) with high-quality work

  • Ability to identify issues and opportunities, develop solutions and make recommendations using multiple sources of information
